Dear Triplets and fellow PNEH-ers,

Took a while but here are my entries for "Street Scenes":
1. Typical Sunday morning scene in the downtown area of Lake Forest, IL where we live
2. Scene from a neighboring town, Highland Park with fall pumpkin display
3. A walkway from the same town. I found the shape of the roof kind of interesting.

Here are my four additional entries, all taken in Manhattan.
BiTi and Hien Lan will surely recognize the scenes, specially the first one :-). I was caught in the act taking picture of the pedicabs. You can see that the young man was very pleased being one of the subjects of my camera. PNEH nay\ bi. anh chang\ dap. xe pedicab mang' vo^n' qua'. Love the "couleur locale" of the street scenes submitted by MC, TNS & Trang...

Here my first entries of street scenes taken in Papeete, Tahiti earlier this year... Although Tahiti has some incredibly beautiful islands and scenic landscape, its capital is pretty run down and archaic...

I’m so amazed by all your street-scenes photo-entries

It’s very interesting & in a way, allow us to see all the small dramas that were taking place everyday

 @ every corner of the streets around the world…

Hi MC and BT,

Thanks to Picasa, I was able to find some old pictures for my entries for Trees, which I took when we were visiting Siem Reap a few years ago. I loved the majestic trees growing out of the Ta Prohm ruins and the huge tree roots straddling the temple structures and took many pictures of them, as you can see. The last one was also taken in Cambodia and is that of a betel tree with its very ripe fruits, an unusual sight (at least for me). Enjoy!
