Fwd: my entries for NAUTICAL

Dear BiTwin, fellow PNEHs, painters, poets, Mai Quang and Forum friends,

I wish we did not self-impose the restriction of no bikini-clad babes and trunk wearing hunks :-).
Anyhow, after going through my folders last night and this morning, here are my entries, all but one were taken during my wonderful CDM trip with the other two Musketeerettes. You will recognize the subject of two of the photos, though you will surely also find them not as nice as my twin's entry.
"Cruising into the sunset" was taken in Hawaii two summers ago (embarrassing fact behind the shoot: I did not know at the time that for the camera to focus I needed to press the button halfway first. My twin, ever so encouraging, saw my pictures and told me this whiter than snow lie  "it's ok Babi, your photos have kind of a.. a..a...dreamy effect" )

Have a lovely weekend
From a bright, sunny, hot Be^n Bo*\ So^ng

Re: [MC74 and Friends] Last entry for patterns "Clear Story"

Good morning Em Ci Twin :-)

Sorry here's the 'Clear Story'. That's the name of the glass house.
" Originally inspired by bottle house traditions from the American South,
in which bottles were intended to protect against bad spirits,
these bottle house sculptures evoke a range of associations,
from domesticity to transparency, containment to loss."

In this case the artist is also inspired by the Eichler design ...
though I have to say it doesn't look like one at all :-)

It's very cool to look from the inside out or up to the sky.

Have a good WE,
BT (who's fully awake now :-))

Fw: [MC74 and Friends] Patterns... Patterns... Patterns or ???

Hi all,

By looking at my entries for "Repetitive Patterns", I bet you guys know for sure that I'm not much an "Architecture Photographer"... Come to think of it, my entries for last week's "chairs" should already qualify for this week's theme. ;-)

Anyway, hope these would satisfy this week's theme...  (^_^).
