Thanks Ai My for leaving the gate and the lights on, 

we timed it perfectly, got to your place at 7pm and

the parade passed your house at 7:05pm.

I love most the colored lights reflecting on the

water, feels like Venice... with 20th high speed

gondolas :-)

Dear twin, fellows PNEH, painters, poets including Mai Quang, and Forum friends,
I love this time of the year in Manhattan, with the beautiful windows displays for Christmas and the trees all illuminated. 
Here are some photos which I took yesterday in Uptown (Christmas trees along Park Avenue, and decorations in red at the front of a restaurant) and Midtown (the tree dressed up with blue light, and Christmas trees lining up in front of the buildings).

Skyline silhouettes of wondrous kind,
Dreamy landscapes in many a sight,
Charming visions of ultimate delight
Nature refined touch better left undefined

From fallen dusk to early dawn
Twilight to the early light
Ocean, mountain sites to urban confines
Horizons, dashing sights of lovely vibes

New Year Calendar

New days sprout under snow cover.

Winged love hides just round the corner.

When the wind howls in your teapot,

Think blues skies and forget-me-nots

And tap your feet to soft raindrops.

Now grab your straw hats, your flip-flops, 

Set out on the year’s longest day

Through city streets, on sun-soaked bays,

To look for that famed hotdog stand,

Till sundown finds you hand in hand

And once tender leaves burst gold-red.

Turn for home where lil’ sleepy heads

Wait for the sweetest, quietest night

Before another year takes flight.
