Hello everyone

Bravo to all friends for the awesome and creative Brown photo entries and the wonderfully realistic painting from TH...
Here's my entry, a collage of brown wooden objects in my home, each has a special meaning and is a wonderful souvenir from some of my trips. Brown happens to be one of my favorite color in interior decoration, it's such a warm and earthy color...

 Following Triet's UPS brown delivery van (and not the man) :-), here is my additional entry.
 I took a walk down the street, in my neighborhood on Sunday, in search for more brown things to shoot. I saw lots of poles in a variety of brown shades, a brown bus shelter with its roof covered with green moss, a reddish brown house in a green field of grass framed behind dark brown trees, and a brown and beige house. Here is the collage to share what I found with you.

"What Can Brown Do For You?" is the slogan for UPS, the package delivery service. According to a Wall St Journal article from a few years ago, these young delivery men in brown shorts are very popular with the housewives.  Apparently, they deliver more than just packages! :-)

Here is my entry of the theme brown :

The Gray Hotel in the heart of Milan where the interior design is Brown Chocolate and Cream Beige.

What you see here is the details of different pieces of furniture in the lobby of the hotel with bright colors brighten the atmosphere and the effects of light illuminate the geometric lines.

There is some sort of a pink bed hanging in the middle of the lobby, where I was sitting on it for the picture.

The color brown!!!What can I think about the color brown? 

Brown is the color of "earth"! To me, earth is very contemplative, thoughtful, deep…

Earth is strong and solid, for he provides structure… Earth signifies the cycle of life.

He blooms, dies, and is reborn…

Luckily, I had these 2 brown color photos which I like very much because of its fashionable statement

I think that  these images are so eye catching & it's such some cool advertisements

Following the footsteps of my triplets, Trie^'t and Thu Huong, here are my first entries (ie there will be more to come. I start from inside the house first, will submit more photos of brown things from outside the house :-)).
 I did not realize there are so many brown things in this world, I could not stop taking pictures.

Dear MC,

Before I can start nagging anyone, I have to hold myself up to the mirror, so here forthwith are my submissions for last week's theme of Birds and this week's theme of Brown. I didn't realize accepting the job of Nag #3 requires me to be diligent about my own entries. No longer can I slack off until the last minute...

I couldn't make up my mind about the Brown theme so I decided to submit two entries, a collage of the amazing Gaudi architecture found in Palau Guell in Barcelona (lots of brown!) and pictures of the food I saw in the Mercat de la Boqueria in Barcelona, some kind of brown seafood and brown figs. Hope you don't mind the multiple entries.

Hôm nay trời đẹp , đi hiking ở Starved Rock State Park, chụp được 2 tấm hình cho cả đề tài tuần trước ("Chim") và đề tài tuần này ("Brown").

The first picture is of an American Eagle on an Indian totem.  The second is of a Brown Bear, also called a Bruin (hence the name of the Boston hockey team that's fighting it out with Vancouver right now).

So, did I escape the Nagging Music or what? :-)

Dear Em Ci, Mr. Kiu, all PNAH and friends,

  I am FIRST to submit , how about that? YAYAYYYYYYYYY !!!

  The 1st collage is called the many sides of a vase :-)  Russ brought
this back from Asia, I forgot where, but it's made of a special
type of wood that keep the water cool by 'sweating' ...  so
if you fill it with water, you'll see little beads of 'sweat' forming
on the exterieur of the vase and the water keeps really cool...
magic, maybeI should just call it '"the magic water bottle: ?

 The second is made of brown things around the house that
I especially love, Valrhona (nothing unusual here, I always have
a few tablets tucked in my desk drawer :-)), the kangaroos I
brought back from one of my trips down under is actually a
S&P shaker.  I love old wooden baking spoons and my old
'chinese' medecine cabinets with its many many drawers where
I can stash all kinds of knick-knacks :-)
