Great idea MC ( that's why we are Twins hi hi )

Ktciiii deariiii :-)  How about YOU wearing bj, a white shirt, and do what Em Ci suggested with the strawberries and have
your BH take the pic as her entry? ha ha

Have fun!
BT

Hi Ktc,
you see? Always ask my twin BiTi for advice when in doubt, or "luc' nao\ bi' lu\", 'cause she always has a good advice or two to offer.
If you want more red, ask your BH to hold a bowl of strawberries and bite into one, hhhmmmm, I can visualize it already, so summery and beautiful, right BiTi?

Dear Quang, BT, and Ktc

I already gave fair warning to ATB that I will use his posting to reply to you and that he should have it copyrighted. I also checked with my lawyer: since ATB did not have it copyrighted and he was silent (im lang. la\ do^\ng y', in this case), I could borrow it without any consequence, so here it is,  a bit modified, and typed in a different color :-),  to reflect my own situation, but also just in case TNS decides to sue me, I could claim that it was entirely my idea... :-) .

I had always been in search for a way to express myself until I found out about photography, thanks to my muse and mentor BiTi. The more I learn about this art, the more I'm into it. Taking photos not only makes me happy and relaxed but also allows me to show people how I see the world, to be creative, and most of all; it helps me understand myself better. I may not afford many fancy equipments. and even if I could afford them, I would not be able to lug them around (fancy equipments are so heavy! A mere look at them makes me feel overwhelmed) nor would I be able to use them (too complicated for my lazy and simple mind) and I do not know have any technical skills. However, I still feel proud of being able to love something that much. One million thank you's Quang, BiTi, and Ktc for your sweet comments, and most of all for always encouraging me from the start. If I ever get any photography award, will surely mention your names, so keep encouraging me :-)

MCBBS

PS: Ktc, truly sorry to do this to you :-), but... where are your entries, now that the partying has been over for a week already, and Triet and KL and BL had submitted theirs?
BiTi and I are big fans of your beautifully shot and original entries too, so cannot wait to see them :-)
Also, could you please nhac ' kheo' your BH (as in beautiful half) to submit hers once she recovers from the "organizers' fatigue syndrome".

Fw: [MC74 and Friends] My entry for RWB

It was great fun for me to watch the dance contest video and look at the pictures of the MC75 reunion. Thank you Thuan, Liem, Triet et al for taking the time to record the events with such meticulousness and sharing them with the rest of us who could not be there in person. Thuan oi, who were the three finalists? They all danced with great verve, but the gentleman especially stood out for his sense of rhythm and liberal (but joyful) interpretation of the dance moves led by Hoang.

I've enjoyed looking as well at the RWB entries submitted, which displayed your endless creativity (especially yours MC, or at least your discerning eyes, since my mental picture of Bruxelles seems to be an endless grey). I apologize for my absence from the forum the last two weeks and for not doing my job of keeping up with the nagging...I mean, reminding. Before I can start doing so however, I thought I'd better keep up my end of the bargain and submit my entry for the RWB theme. It is a collage of pictures taken this past week.
- the American flag pic was taken last weekend in OC (no, not the one in CA but our own Ocean City, where we spent a delightful holiday weekend with Thuy and Dat)
- the blueberry cheesecake squares with raspberry were made for a picnic
- red/blue/white shoes trotted out in keeping with the patriotic theme for a July 4 fireworks viewing party
- and lastly, RWB fireworks over the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial (we had a great vantage point - a friend's penthouse)

My third entry for BRW

My dear twin BiTi and fellows PNEH, hoa si, thi si, art critic and Forum friends,

...and this is the third one, Amsterdam.
I am done with my entries. So now I am up to my next job: di do\i no*. :-)

MC

My second entry for RWB

Here is my collage for Bruges.
MC

My entries for RWB

My dear twin BiTi and fellows PNEH, hoa si, thi si, art critic and Forum friends,

first, thanks again BiTi and Caro for thinking that my opening act for Red, White and Blue was cute. Your compliment sounded like music to my ears.

It looks like my intention to impress people by holding a cookbook backfired. I will tell Chuong that it was all his fault. When I told him that I wanted to pose with some mi\ goi' to be true to myself as a cook, he sounded a bit puzzled "Mom, why do you want to hold those?...well, ok, whatever Mom, it is your picture". That convinced me to find a cookbook to pose with, and the red one I had forgotten that it ever existed, was picked simply because it went nicely with my tablier :-).

Thanks to BiTi, this theme turned out to be lots of fun for me ( and it is also looking like it will be a success since Cao Tua^'n came out of hiding to submit an entry :-)).
It allowed me to notice things that I did not notice before, even though I usually notice lots of things when I walk on the streets, instead of paying attention to where I need to go to.
(The Cool Gang, beware when you come to visit NYC this Fall, make sure that you all hold on to Quang's shirt, if you don't want to end up walking the streets of Long Island City with me).

All of the sudden, I saw a lot of red and white and blue everywhere I went.  Even Mai Han who normally disapproved of my bad habit of taking pictures wherever I went, joined in the search and pointed out to me a few things that were red, white and blue. Also, it was handy that it was cold in Bruxelles, Bruges and Amsterdam, and Mai Han brought her big red sweatshirt, which she wore almost everyday, and thus became a very reluctant model sometimes.

I took so much pictures, but do not worry, I won't send them all in...at once. As appetizers, here are three collages of all the red, white and blue things I saw in Bruxelles, Bruges and Amsterdam (I am having some technical problems  sending all 3 collages at the same time, so the collages for Bruges and Amsterdam will be sent separately).
A warning:  you may have a hard time finding the red or white or blue items, but that's part of the game :-). A magnifying glass may be handy.
Oh, and another thing, I took it that the blue sky could be counted as something blue since my twin did not say that we could not. I did not cheat, didn't I?

Good night and have a good weekend everyone
back to Be^n Bo*\ So^ng

Dear BT, MC, friends and PNEH,

It was a great pleasure to meet some of our forum's friends in OC last saturday and sunday in OC and I would like to say thank you to the organizers of the MC75 Gala,
everything is so nice, perfect and I am sure that everybody had a wonderful time. Since I am still on the road and have little access to internet, I will post pictures when I 'll be back
in town.
Attached are my entries for the new theme. They were taken at the seal beach marina.
I enjoyed so much being in Southern California this time ...

Hien-Lan, T-Huong, HyHoa, Minh-Thuy, Duc, Doug, All PNEH  &  Sweet Friends:
Here is my contribution for this week theme "Red,White & Blue"
This photo was taken at LACMA, the impressive "art-mania" area of Los Angeles…
The colors "Red-white & Blue" are so aggressive &  agitating
these particular colors  really make the difference between looking and seeing don't you think?
Hope you like the industrial structure of the subject too…
Liem

PS:  Welcome back MC  "L. nho MC nhu la an fruit-tart without crème Anglaise" vay
I'm so exhausted from having much fun with friends @ the MC Reunion &
trying to be back  to normal (I'm almost back to normal but not quite…)

Fw: [MC74 and Friends] RED WHITE AND BLUE

Dear all,
I have been a very infrequent contributor to the PNEH (once) but here is my second contribution to this great artistic project. Bleu, Blanc, Rouge with a Canadian flavour :  Les Canadiens de Montreal and Le Grand Schtroumf avec les Canadiens.

Hi everybody

Son oi, I love your unique twist on the theme, you have a very good eye!
BT and Triet, your photos illustrate so well the tricolor patriotic spirit!!!
Welcome back MC, you look very cute in that apron and buried in the upside down cookbook! LIke you, I'm a big fan of Zumba!
Here's my spin on the theme, I was inspired by objects around the house...
Cheers

My entries for: Red White and Blue

Dear Triplets and fellow PNEH-ers,

In spite of some fairly intense partying over the weekend, I still found the time to snap a couple shots for this week's theme (do I get any brownie points? :-)).  The first is a cute window display that has the ingredients of summer: blue sky, clouds, watermelon et... The second is rather self-explanatory.

Amities,

Triet

Very nice RBW shot TNS.

And here's my entry also hang moi, shot in Corona Del Mar and Balboa Island
and on the Pacific Ocean. Finally, we took the New Port Beach cruise and I highly
recommend it,  we passed the house of N. Cage, Jerry Yang of Yahoo, Laura Bacall,
Cindy Lauper, just to name a few and heard many interesting stories on the the
history of the area.  Also saw the sea lions sunning (as you can see), lots of RBW
shop windows...

Coucou Be' Diep and Thu Huong, thank you for your nice words of encouragementl as always.

And thank you Triet, Ai My and Khanh Liem for the hot pics :-)

Cheers!
BT gan OP for a while :-)

[MC74 and Friends] My entries for this week's theme: Stones

Dear Triplets and fellow PNEH-ers,

Here's my contributions for the week.

The first is a picture of a rock we found on a hiking trail: apparently it could get slippery, so someone carved a warning on it. Enough said! :-)

The second is the stone entrance to our street (Wolfpen Lane) back in Massachusetts.

The third is the obvious musical soundtrack for this week's theme: a version of "Lệ Đá" by Bảo Yến. Enjoy!

Triet

Fw: [MC74 and Friends] my entries for Stones

Dear MC, BT, PNEH and friends,

Follow MC's footsteps I submit my entries with the new theme, if yours are stones and grass, mine are stones and water MC,
What else right ? the grasses somehow give a graceful movement to the stone I would call your entry : stone walkway through grass! I love all your entries.

While I have to make no effort, everything is there : cây nhà là vuon, and it is almost premonitory, I took these pictures last week because it was the new theme of the lake this summer !

Enjoy,

BL

[MC74 and Friends] my entries for Stones

My dear twin BiTi, fellows PNEH, hoa. si~, thi si~, art critic Mr. Kiu,

Here are my entries for Stones. Since I may be too busy during the next two weeks to work on the theme, and it was too beautiful today to stay in the house, I decided to go out and look for stones to take pictures of.
The first three are "co? nha\ dda' vu*o*n\... cua? o^ng ba\hang\ xom'"  . The fourth one was taken later on, at the Library where I went to return my books that were way overdue (as usual), which proved the point that sometimes a chore could turn unexpectedly into something fun.

Good night and have a wonderful week
