Funny I was recently at the Bellagio and they changed to a new floral painting, this one is inspired by Monet's Cap Jacques, I have photoshopped the 2 side by side to compare floral art and oil painting...

Dear BiTwin, fellow PNEHs, painters, poets, Mai Quang (who is enjoying his many bowls of pho*? in OC and taking a well deserved break from his art critic's job) and Forum friends,

Mother Nature must be in the same profession as Thu Huong, as her way of combining colors including contrasting ones is amazing and I think Tua^n' is right in his observation that the easiest color display is found in flowers. To earn the crown of Pink Princess that my twin Queen Bee Tee had affectionately bestowed upon me yesterday, here are my first three entries, taken on Sunday at the bus shelter near my house where the echinacea flowers are blooming in the summer sunlight.
The third entry was taken a while ago in Napa Valley.
The fourth entry was taken at the kiosk selling Tibetan wares in Hell's Kitchen Flea Market.

All the fish have a yellow tint which goes against a blue background.
I hope the colors are contrasting enough so it won't be rejected by the blog bosses.

Contrasting colors

Dear Em Ci Twin and PNEH friends,

Hum, this is harder than I thought (who thought of this theme any way?)

I find lots of photo with lots of colors but having 2 contrasting colors in 

the same photo is a bit more tricky.

So here goes from Provence

1. Red and Green

2. Blue and Orange (ouf the blue top saved the day :-))

3. Blue and Yellow-Orange

Now that my 'homework' is done ... I can hit the road :-P

Fw: [MC74 and Friends] REPETITIVE PATTERNS Diapo

Dear friends,

 It seems to me that our PNEH (me the most) are seeing 

double / triple / repetitive patterns everywhere :-)  

I think you'll enjoy this week diapo set to the beat of a 

SUPER FUN SONG selected by my super phong phu' Twin 

which brings summer to a WONDERFUL start.

I have no control over the order of photos in this video

nor the REPETITIVE pattern :-) as they are randomly

selected from the set to match up with the MAMBO

Dear BiTwin, fellow PNEHs, painters, poets, Mai Quang and Forum friends,

I wish we did not self-impose the restriction of no bikini-clad babes and trunk wearing hunks :-).
Anyhow, after going through my folders last night and this morning, here are my entries, all but one were taken during my wonderful CDM trip with the other two Musketeerettes. You will recognize the subject of two of the photos, though you will surely also find them not as nice as my twin's entry.
"Cruising into the sunset" was taken in Hawaii two summers ago (embarrassing fact behind the shoot: I did not know at the time that for the camera to focus I needed to press the button halfway first. My twin, ever so encouraging, saw my pictures and told me this whiter than snow lie  "it's ok Babi, your photos have kind of a.. a..a...dreamy effect" )
