Thanks for the photos, they really convey the serenity and peacefulness, the lighting streaming into the patio, the smokey pots and pans, the helpers focusing on their craft... How far is Deer Park from OC? Would love to visit one day...
Your beautiful pics of Nau Banh Chung did capture the true spirit, tradition of Tet, with charming illustration of the cooking of Banh Chung, the symbolic Tet staple, from start to finish
The first 2 pictures, and the display of various flowers (hoa mai, hoa dao, hoa cuc, chau thuy thien) all evoked the magic of Tet, in all its simplicity
The first one, so picturesque and expressive, certainly projected an aura of peace and tranquility, with dreamy feel, serene quality, though the reflection of sun light , steamy vapor added to the mix It was as if we living out a sweet dream that never ends, a like water for chocolate experience, full of sensory overload, rich in texture and flavor
The playful display of banh chung piling up, neatly wrapped like Chritsmas gifts of different nature, is quite a joy, and a sight to behold
So Khanh Liem, thanks for your timely, invaluable contribution to our photo exhibition
