Dear Em Ci my Twin, Mr Kiu, fellow PNEH and friends,
Here are my anachronic photos. The first two are taken earlier this week in Santa
Cruz and Capitola and the last two at the Concours D'elegance (classic car show)
a few years ago.
1.The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's Looff Carousel is a National Historic Landmark,
still turning merrily even though it just turned 100 year old this year, a local treasure for children old and young :-)
2.The 'masochistic' hopefully anachronic :-) flip flops
3 and 4. Two beauties from the Concours D'elegance
Cheers,
BT

Hello Bao Tram
ReplyDeleteSimply amazing, the 4 diverse, original pictures that fitted the theme to a tee
1) The Santa Cruz beach boardwalk carousel, a magnificient, colorful treasure of lost time, still chugging along, going strong after all these years
2) a thrillingly scary flip flop, yet excitingly alluring for the masochistic type,
men or women alike, who get their kicks from the pain fixes :-)
3) 4) the charming, vintage logos for the retro cars, the beauties that stood
on their own merits, in term of elegance, sophistication
seemingly a lost art in the modern day of conformity
