Re: [MC74 and Friends] Warmth

Hi Friends

On this chilly winter evening, I feel warm and fuzzy and imagined myself wrapped in Tuan's brightly colored blanket, petting Triet's dog by the fireplace, dreaming of Liem's light soaked room and wishing to be on Son's sunny beach, while savoring MC & BT's yummy chocolates...

Here's my interpretation of warmth: a freshly baked cookie
Enjoy photos of my batch of sweets baked this week end...

  4. Caro,

    They look SO GOOD!!!

I love palmiers. Does TNS know you're *the* Sweet Caroline who can make heavenly home-made desserts? I tell myself when I retire I'll learn to bake. Until then I find it daunting and much less forgiving than cooking. One wrong move and flan turns into soup (incredible but possible, accordingly to a recently reported case). And none of this wishy-washy vừa chua vừa ngọt that TNS claims is allowed with ribs.

  6. Thank you Tuan, Biti, HL & Mai Uyen

I agree, baking is much harder than cooking! must follow closely the recipes... but at the same time it's so rewarding and I love the smell of baking bread or cookies wafting from the oven, it's heavenly!

  7. Hi Caro,
I totally agree with Tuan, BiTi, HL and my little sis.
Your cookies look so scrumptious. I also love the way you present them in the collage.
