RE: [MC74 and Friends] CLocks & Watches

Hi Bao Tram, Mai Chau, Caro & PHEH friends,

Caro,  I like the exquisite details of the Huntington Library clock very much!
This is a French clock circa 1760, more modest, from my small collection of French antiques.

Cheers,

Tuan

  1. Hi Anh Tua^n',
Thanks for your nice entry. The antique clock was so interesting to see, and again I liked how you matched it with the painting in the background.

  3. Hi Tuan,

I agree with my Twin and Caroline, what a lovely clock, does it chime?

  4. Yes, Bao Tram, this silk thread suspension French clock still chimes regularly on the hour and the half hour, its tinkle as soft as a gentle summer breeze. Sometimes in the silence of the night, its sound echoes tenderly like a whisper of love from another time… and it reminds me that life is but a fleeting dream…
