Dear Em Ci Twin and friends,
I went out and shot these when it stopped raining this morning (finally after a loooong
week of rain and more rain) There are lots of hints of spring I tell' ya :-)
1. Hot pink babies (this is the story behind these babies. One day a couple of
years ago, after plucking dead buds/leaves off the cyclamen, I just threw them
on the ground so the gardeners can blow them away later. Little did I know, they were
going to seed and grow into little plants ... and 2 years later, now, they have these hot
pink blooms (a beautiful cross between the fuchsia red and white cyclamen that I planted)
Isn't nature wonderful ? :-)
2. Rien qu'une larme (can you tell why?)
3. Pygmy tulips (they are only about 10cm tall :-))
4 and 5. I don't know what they are called but they grow back every year like weed
6. Cherry blossoms on the way
Hope spring is on its way where ever you are as well,
BT

Hello Bao Tram
ReplyDeleteLike a delighfully refreshing breeze after the heavy rain,
such wonderful flower pictures that heralded the early spring arrival,
the highly anticipated, symbolic renewal of life
Delicate, dainty and fragile, unspoiled in nature, they are lovely visions
in myriads of colors, rose, pink, blush, ivory, gold, orange, purple ...
the bright colored palette that brightened our days,
a much needed relief from the dreadful, somber winter days
As uplifting as love in the air coming statesides,
they were simply pure joy to behold, especially
"The Hot Pink Babies" glowing beautifully with misty, rain drops
"Rien Qu'une Larme ... dans tes yeux", a tear of joy, almost,
so visually poetic, charming as expression, quite fittingly named
"The Pygmy Tulips" as cute as they could be
"Purple Weeds", fields of dreams, that added a touch of variety to the grass scenery
And, last but not least, a mesmerizing, artful collage of "Cherry Blossoms"
so tastefully presented
Wishing you, BT, Russ a very Pleasant Weekend,
when "apres la pluie, le beau temps" ... couldn't feel any better :-)
