Here is my contribution for this week theme "Red,White & Blue"

This photo was taken at LACMA, the impressive "art-mania" area of Los Angeles…

The colors "Red-white & Blue" are so aggressive &  agitating

these particular colors  really make the difference between looking and seeing don't you think?

Hope you like the industrial structure of the subject too…

Dear Triplets and fellow PNEH-ers,

In spite of some fairly intense partying over the weekend, I still found the time to snap a couple shots for this week's theme (do I get any brownie points? :-)).  The first is a cute window display that has the ingredients of summer: blue sky, clouds, watermelon et... The second is rather self-explanatory.

Very nice RBW shot TNS.

And here's my entry also hang moi, shot in Corona Del Mar and Balboa Island 

and on the Pacific Ocean. Finally, we took the New Port Beach cruise and I highly

recommend it,  we passed the house of N. Cage, Jerry Yang of Yahoo, Laura Bacall,

Cindy Lauper, just to name a few and heard many interesting stories on the the 

history of the area.  Also saw the sea lions sunning (as you can see), lots of RBW

shop windows...

    Je suis ebahie  par vos photos de cailloux , pierres , rochers qui captent notre attention à cet  univers mineral  . Qu’ elles soient façonnées  par la nature ou par la main de l’homme  ces pierres , d’apparence        posées et calmes ,  sont pleines  de subtilités   n’est ce pas .

    Et toujours  un immense plaisir à regarder  vos collages florales  avec  de petites betes  volantes  qui donnent vie aux photos .

      C’est l’été , ça vous dit  un peu de fraicheur  et une petite virée à la campagne  ;-))

My contribution for the rocks, the pictures are taken in Yosemite National Park ,

The 1st picture is of the upper fall, and the 2nd one is where the water of the upper fall is landing

Dear Triplets and fellow PNEH-ers,

Here's my contributions for the week.

The first is a picture of a rock we found on a hiking trail: apparently it could get slippery, so someone carved a warning on it. Enough said! :-)

The second is the stone entrance to our street (Wolfpen Lane) back in Massachusetts.

The third is the obvious musical soundtrack for this week's theme: a version of "Lệ Đá" by Bảo Yến. Enjoy!

Follow MC's footsteps I submit my entries with the new theme, if yours are stones and grass, mine are stones and water MC,
What else right ? the grasses somehow give a graceful movement to the stone I would call your entry : stone walkway through grass! I love all your entries.

While I have to make no effort, everything is there : cây nhà là vuon, and it is almost premonitory, I took these pictures last week because it was the new theme of the lake this summer !

Here are my entries for Stones. Since I may be too busy during the next two weeks to work on the theme, and it was too beautiful today to stay in the house, I decided to go out and look for stones to take pictures of.
The first three are "co? nha\ dda' vu*o*n\... cua? o^ng ba\hang\ xom'"  . The fourth one was taken later on, at the Library where I went to return my books that were way overdue (as usual), which proved the point that sometimes a chore could turn unexpectedly into something fun.

Here's my entry, a collage of brown wooden objects in my home, each has a special meaning and is a wonderful souvenir from some of my trips. Brown happens to be one of my favorite color in interior decoration, it's such a warm and earthy color...

 Following Triet's UPS brown delivery van (and not the man) :-), here is my additional entry.
 I took a walk down the street, in my neighborhood on Sunday, in search for more brown things to shoot. I saw lots of poles in a variety of brown shades, a brown bus shelter with its roof covered with green moss, a reddish brown house in a green field of grass framed behind dark brown trees, and a brown and beige house. Here is the collage to share what I found with you.

"What Can Brown Do For You?" is the slogan for UPS, the package delivery service. According to a Wall St Journal article from a few years ago, these young delivery men in brown shorts are very popular with the housewives.  Apparently, they deliver more than just packages! :-)

Here is my entry of the theme brown :

The Gray Hotel in the heart of Milan where the interior design is Brown Chocolate and Cream Beige.

What you see here is the details of different pieces of furniture in the lobby of the hotel with bright colors brighten the atmosphere and the effects of light illuminate the geometric lines.

There is some sort of a pink bed hanging in the middle of the lobby, where I was sitting on it for the picture.
