[MC74 and Friends] My entries for CARS
Dear twin, fellows PNEH, painters, poets, Mai Quang, and Forum friends,
I was hoping that I would see some really fancy cars during my walk at lunch time on Thursday, and my morning ride on the Hudson River Drive on Friday.
But, except for the Baby B, there are nothing fancy about my cars, specially in comparison to TNS, Tuan, Caro, BiTi, KL's cars, or whimsical in comparison to HL's cars. They are just every day cars, and of course the Kings of NYC streets, the yellow cabs :-).
May be if I keep looking...
Though I must say, my dream car is neither a Mercedes, nor a Porsche, BMW, etc.... I just want a simple little car that can drive itself at my instructions, and wake me up very softly when it arrives at destination with something like "Wake up gorgeous...by the way, don't forget to comb your hair and put some lipstick on". I am not asking for much, am I?
In the meantime, here they are, my CARS.
Have a nice Sunday and a wonderful week ahead everyone

The back of this converted car is used as a vending truck to sell refreshments at social events.

Re: [MC74 and Friends] CARS
TNS, BT, HL, KL, MC, Tuan, Caro, Quang, Friends,
I must confess that when the new theme was announced, I was highly skeptical - Cars?? But after seeing the pics and reading the comments, I couldn't help but share the excitement and sense of whimsy.
Here's my entry.

Re: Re: [MC74 and Friends] CARS
Thanks KL, BT & Tuan!
KL, your red & blue car is very cute!
Here are more cars... Colorfully painted beetles in Tienanmen Square, Beijing, during the 2008 Olympics... But I barely had time to snap these photos as these cars were driving by and there was a huge crowd...
Cheers

Hello BT, HL, Son, Tuan & Friends
I have admired your beautiful and artsy car entries... I love Son's car with the eyelashes, reminds me of the movie Clockwork Orange poster... HL's colorful van, BT's Bijan revival, and Tuan's Fiat smart car...
I visited the Auto Show couple of weeks ago at the LA Convention Center and here are my dream cars...

Re: [MC74 and Friends] Cars
Dear Em Ci, Mr Kiu and PNEH friends,
Here's my entry for cars. I took these photos on black Friday.
I don't know if you remember Bijan (he was really hot back
in the late 70's early 90's for his perfume I think). The
car was parked in front of his famous Rodeo Drive's boutique
What I didn't know, and found out afterwards is that he
had a collection of very expense cars all painted yellow,
and that he passed away earlier this year of a stroke and
brain surgery, sad... the Bugatti costs $1.5M+ hmmm
how much do you think my collage is worth? hi hi
Have a great WE,
BT

RE: [MC74 and Friends] My first chan troi
Dear fellow PNEHs and friends,
To provide a counter point of view to all your gorgeous pictures and Thu Huong’s striking painting of horizon, may I offer a different horizon. Without water, mountains, trees, not even clouds… All it has was dirt, nothing but dirt, and more dirt. It’s a dirty job, but someone has gotta do it J. And it’s only hundreds of miles from civilization…
West Texas horizon where earth and sky meet…
