to home, I have to go through the old town ,the
heel aigu got stuck between the pavers,
I took my shoes in hand then and deliberately went
home, to the amusement of the passersby

ReplyDeleteI love it, from the black and white with some red from the sole and the lining in the piano to break the stark contrast, to the way you put the shoes on the piano, creating interesting geometric lines, as BiTi observed.

ReplyDeleteWhen a work of art can reflect the artist's personality and identity and convey that to the viewer, I think it reaches the ultimate goal of art. Torture and Rescue in my most humble opinion has that power. The title "Torture and Rescue" succinctly and succesfully gives the picture your interpretation and intention. T & R has style, imagination, a flair for the art, a deep appreciation of finer things in life, and a stark contrast in colors (mostly black & white with sliver of red). I really enjoy it. Bravo CiTiTi.
Btw, the not so new and pristine conditions of the shoes and the piano just added more characters to the picture.
