Fall


Since my sister has decreed that FALL is still the theme, here's my entry.  Although the drawing isn't, as the Vietnamese expression goes, good enough to carry Thu Huong's flip-flops, I'm hoping it's ABSTRACT enough for the entry to be "tuy mo^.t ma` hai".

The whole thing was triggered by Bao Tram's picture of a single leaf on the ground (I loved it!).  That picture reminded me of a ballgown somebody has just stepped out of.  The little poem tries to describe the moment that somebody (a "woman of a certain age") catches a reflection of herself, taking stock of her true colors, before heading to that last ball for that last dance...
