[MC74 and Friends] my last entry for ABSTRACT
Dear twin BiTi, fellows PNEH, painters, poets, Mr. Kiu and Forum Friends,
here is my last entry (though I cannot promise :-)) for ABSTRACT, entitled Tu*ng\ ngon. song'.
I was daydreaming yesterday morning, looking out the window of my office, when I saw these dancing waves on the dark glass building tower two blocks away (the same building featured in my photo for clouds). Again I could not resist the temptation of taking out my camera, then as BiTi described, "cho^ng?...." zoomed in on the waves, through the crack of my window. My G-12 was not bad, as it also captured ...the chairs (what were you thinking? :-) ) in some of the rooms.
I never noticed those waves before, and did not see them again today. I think it was the perfect timing on Monday when I looked out my window; the bright morning sunlight was hitting the wavy surface of the water (the East River), thus creating those sparkling waves on the building.
BiTi Babi, you can delete my entry "life could be lonely at the top", it's too sad :-), and replace it by this one.
Good night and have a nice Wednesday everyone
from Be^n Bo*\ So^ng

You have such a great eye for finding these interesting shots, MC. If you can find time, have you considered taking some advanced photo courses to become a "pro", or at least a serious hobbyist? I think we all look forward to many more artistic compositions from you.
ReplyDeleteA serious fan,
Triet
Em Ci babiiii,
ReplyDeleteThat's a great story behind the shot, but what were you doing staring out the
window and daydreaming? I hope there wasn't any employee in your office
then, take it back, I can see myself doing exactly that if there were an employee
or boss for that matter in there nagging away hi hi
Anyway, that's amazing that it's a reflection of the river and that you could capture
that from your floor ... dung la MC(v). What a shot!
You are already a Pro in my book ;-)

ReplyDeleteWait, am I the only one who picked up that she was daydreaming in the office? They pay her the big bucks to DAYDREAM IN THE OFFICE??

Ah, BT commented on the same thing. I think I'm going to claim BT as *my* twin.:-)

Thank you BiTi and Trie^t' for your kind comments, and hmmmm, no thanks to my little sis (Ong Chu? Forum, is there a code of conduct in this Forum for little sisters, something like "kho^ng ddu*o*c. vach. ao' chi. cho ngu*o*i\ xem lu*ng" :-)?). I must admit I have always been a bit of a daydreamer, even back when I was in MC, and loved to look out the windows/ doors; that bad habit never left me :-)
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was amazing how the sun rays hit the water at the right angle and created this reflection of the river which was a street away from the tall building. May be I should do some investigative work next time that I see the same phenomenon again, just to confirm my theory, and report back to the Forum :-)
It was not hard for me to notice it , because the waves of light glinted like silver on the almost black glass of the building.
