Fw: [MC74 and Friends] my additional entries for Geometric shapes

Dear twin, fellow PNEHs, painters, poets, Mai Quang and Forum friends,

I was never good in geometry back in high school, so it always took me a while to identify geometric shapes, with one exception. When it came to baubles, as in this photo taken at the flea market in Bruxelles, then it took me no time at all to identify the shapes.

However, I did do my geometry homework twice this week. My results were very humble, compared to the spectacular ones submitted by BiTi, KL, HL, Caro, Tuan and TNS. The picture of the little shelter at the corner of 3rd Avenue and 46th street was taken earlier this week, whereas the photo of the wooden bars in the pond was taken this afternoon in Lancaster, PA.

Goodnight

  2. Dear Em Ci,

The results of your 'homework' are gorgeous, I especially like Lancaster
captured through your eyes. I'd have passed through the area without
a second look instead of capturing such a beautiful scene :-) I like your
    baubles too.

  5. Hello Mai Chau

Quite lovely, the 3 great pictures that depicted the various, interesting shapes,
each in own unique, attractive way

The dazzling sea of baubles, of joyful, cryrstal clear, mesmerizing colors,
the brightly lit, conical, urban refuge in soothing blue,
an oasis of quietude in the swirl of city life

And, saving the best for last, the very picturesque, serene pond scene,
so inspiring in all its simplicity, the reflective shapes in the water,
an optical illusion that provided depth, if not, a light, frivolous,
charming touch of romance to the overall image
