Fw: [MC74 and Friends] my additional entries for HEART

Dear Bi Twin, fellow PNEHs, painters, poets, Mai Quang and forum friends,

In pursuit of hearts, after dropping off Mai Han at a birthday party in Manhattan, I took a short walk along Madison Avenue around 60th Street for a couple of blocks, where all the posh stores were with their beautiful window displays. There were hearts in different sizes, colors and shapes. I took a few photos to share with you.
Then on the way back to pick up Mai Han, our car passed by 34th Street where the department store Macy's was. As the car had to slow down due to traffic, I was able to quickly snap some photos of its windows displays, as well as its ads.

Here they are, the hearts I collected from today's hunting trip:
1- the D&G heart beautifully dressed up in white lace (there were 3 hearts on display, but this one has the reflection of a mannequin couple wearing white from the store on the opposite side of the street)
2- the suspended red heart, looking like a gigantic human one, in display at a jewelry store.
3- Macy's hearts, looking like butterflies.
4- Macy's ad

Goodnight from be^n Bo*\ So^ng

  1. Hello Mai Chau

When a picture is worth thousand words,
so are a few well selected, beautiful shots,
that warrented undivided attention in their surroundings

Inspiring, captivating images of loving hearts
in all their glittering glories, that added a fascinating,
glowing touch of glamour to window dressing,
while conjuring up the "love in the air" moment
for those fortunated ones experiencing the wonderful
    feelings of being in love

  2. Hello Mai Quang,
Thank you for your kind comments. It is always such a pleasure for me to receive them. I'm glad you approved the way I captured the hearts in your city :-)
The shops on Madison Ave always have beautiful window displays. But it was too cold yesterday, so I did not walk very far, although I remember seeing some other beautiful heart decorations a little further towards the 70s.
Keep warm and enjoy the rest of your weekend

  3. Thank you Em Ci and TNS for bringing us photos of heart
displays from the Big Apple and the Little Orange (?)
It's very interesting to see through your photos and Caroline's
how the different parts of the world display their hearts :-)

    Cheers,
    BT
