  1. Hi BT,

The new growth in the second photo give me a soothing effect.
No matter how cold and dark it is, there is a next generation which brings hope for a better future and renews faith in humanity.

  3. Hello Son

A bit of a surprise, somewhat out of the ordinary,
but, such a lovely comment, beautifully expressed
with a well thought, philosophical undertone :-)

  4. Hello Quang,

I don't know got into me, probably hanging out with you a week did it.
Next time I have to skip town when you are in town. :=)
Kidding aside, thanks for all the good laughs and for being a friend.

  5. TNS,

Just so you know, when you visit the East Coast to collect the much promised bò bía. Hanging out with me will lead you to conclude that no matter how warm and sunny it may be, humanity is doomed.

  6. Hello Martha-Uyen,

Speaking of doom, I still remember what Bill Joy, cofounder of Sun Microsystems and BT's buddy (she quen lo+'n) commented on the Unix editor vi he helped to develop, remember that archaic program?

"That lack of programmability is probably what ultimately will doom vi. It can't extend its domain." Boy, he was right!

On the contrary, bo bia, bete noire and Mai Luc Van Doan's company means fun, sunshine va rat am ap.

Yes, I do remember - vi and emacs and troff/nroff. There are days when I feel as archaic as that.:-)
