Fw: [MC74 and Friends] my entries for Through the window

Dear fellows pho' nhom\, hoa si~ , thi si~ en herbe and forum friends,

Here are my two entries for the theme Through the windows.

My first entry is entitled Lady Liberty looking out the window.

I was walking down 5th Avenue on Friday,
When I saw her, Lady Liberty.
She was standing in a Souvenir shop,
With her torch, amidst mountains of T-Shirts
Looking out the window at the passers-by,
And the rain, and the grey and cloudy sky
With her sad and beautiful eyes.

My second entry is entitled NY look and reflections

Enjoy your weekend
From be^n bo*\ so^ng (nhu*ng kho^ng say so'ng :-))

  1. Nice composition. Love the reflection on the window of the mid-rise buildings.

  2. Em Ci baby, both windows are awsome, poor Lady L looking
I love the reflection of the yellow shoe - simply brilliant! - and the yellow
cabs and is it you striking a photographer's pose?

  3. Dear Talented MC:
The reflection from the glass is so lively, interesting to the eyes
Artistically combining many images as a collage with
Splash of cool colors fashioned the city spirit
    Beautiful MC!

  4. Hello Mai Chau

Two diverse, but equally interesting pictures that captured the quintessential
essence of NYC, better known as the Apple, in the eyes of many

The well known, iconic Lady Liberty, standing proud and tall, remains forever
the permanent fixture, if not, a constant in the ever changing NY landscape

The clear reflection on the glass of myriad of subjects, a yellow cab brough to a complete standstill, seemingly under the weight of a voluminous, larger than life, colorful, fashionably high heel, the hustle and bustle in city streets, all combined to give the alluring picture a captivating look, the urban sophistication of a city that never sleeps
