Dear Kiu, BiTi, MC, friends,
Thank you for the subtle reminder. I’m so flattered to be mentioned in the same breath as Kiu as a critic. The truth of the matter is that I’m light years behind and will never be on the same par. But since I’m diec khong so+. su’ng and just for the fun of it as Quang mentioned, what the heck. Unfortunately, I’ll be buried deep in work the next few weeks and just like at MC and college, I’ll skip and miss some of your assignments and hopefully still pass with a barely “passable” grade at the end. But unlike at MC and college, I will surely enjoy watching and reading your works.
So to borrow and few verses from one of my all time favorite songs and Sir Elton John:
I'm going back to my plough
Back to the howling winds of Texas
Looking for the flowing black oil
Back to the howling winds of Texas
Looking for the flowing black oil
Oh I've finally decided my future lies
Well within the white cotton fields L
Well within the white cotton fields L
Hello Khiem
ReplyDeleteAs an always kind, gracious, considerate friend, multitalented in many ways, your sense of modesty is so refreshing, incomparable, if not priceless
No wonder you are so loved and admired by all of us, just for being yourself
I guess, we all share the same passion or fun of saying what's on our mind in writing, whether or not they come off as relevant, meaningful, funny, off the wall, or, just plain silly sometimes, for the heck of it, as you have said
So, in that respect, hat (the stetson, cowboy kind !) off to you for all valuable contributions to the forum, be it captivating photos, so well written, insightful,
witty comments ... whenever you find the time or the inspiration to do it
Quang
