Re: [MC74 and Friends] my entries for Self Portrait

Dear Blog Chiefs, fellow bloggers:

Following the lead of blog master EmCi, co^ Ky'-Die^.u BL, forum chief TNS and Professeur Q., I would like to submit my humble - not standing out - entries for the theme "Self-Portrait".

The first picture I took myself arm extended, in the morning, "nai-ni.t go.n-ghe~", getting ready to hit the slopes, Vail, Colorado Feb. 2010.

The second picture: ready to take a dip in the pool, August 2009.

The third picture: Park City, Utah Feb. 2008.

Sincerely,
T.

  2. Hi Thuan and Trie^'t,
thanks for your participation. I started to think may be my twin and I should give a reward to attract more contributions :-)
My twin is right, you both did a great job with your very nice self portraits.

  3. Hello Triet,

Thank you for being very nice with your comments. Yes, Huong took the pool picture. The one in Park City was taken by my older son cu Kho^i, who was 7 at that time. He did a good job, didn't he?

  4. Hello Thuan

When a picture is worth a thousand words,
3 great ones are just priceless
the only constant, in 3 consecutive years,
you still looked the same, amazingly, as youthful as ever

The 1st one, that could have been a trailer from a James Bond thriller,
the so cool, steely look, if look could kill, then this is it
the reflection, not Mr Bond, but his Nemesis, from Russia with Love :-)
who might have spoken these few words to his rival
"Mr Bond, are you up to the challenge?
Let's see how tough you really are" !

On a similar theme, from a different time, in a different setting,
perhaps from Dr No, or Diamonds are Forever
the Asian version of Bond, in his fittest best, ready to take the plunge,
or, take on any newcomers, who, foolishly, dared to stand in his ways !

And, saving the best for last, the picture that it said all
"Um, Never felt this Good, always coming out on top" :-)

  5. Hello Quang,

You certainly deserve a big prize for this piece of commentary. Wow, did not know those pictures are so great -:). That's why we need great writers like you to add oomph and pizazz to any pedestrian matter, in this case some ordinary pictures of a less than ordinary guy. Thank you for your kind and generous "lo*`i ba`n Mao-To^n Cu*o*ng". Your daily commentaries do add a touch of class and a load of fun to our forum.

I have been on call this whole weekend ( now you know why I have been active on the forum the past few days -:) ). Just finished some work, that's why I am up at this hour. How about you, why up so late my friend? Anything to do with love? -:).

Am going to catch some shut-eye now. Good night, and again, thank you very kindly.

    T.

  6. Dear BT, HL, BL, KL, Triet, Doug, Thuan, Hi Duc,

Your self portraits are all special. Moi cai mot ve, muoi phan ven muoi.
Thuan, you look like Arnold Scwharzenegger, ready to jump into the pool. Hope the similarity ends there :-)
