Dear fellows PNEH, hoa si, thi si, art critic and forum friends, Running behind the quick and light footsteps of our two PNEH BL and KL, here is my first entry for Birds.
I took this photo at this little park called Ralph Bunche Park on 1st Avenue. On my way to work I often pass by the park and like to take a little time to admire its flowers in spring, summertime and early fall. Last Thursday, I noticed the pigeons at the park, so I went there on Friday at lunch time to take their pictures. Here are some of the Ralph Bunche Park pigeons that I would like to introduce to you.

Hello Mai Chau
ReplyDeleteA day in the life of 2 pigeons, in the little world called Raph Bunche Park,
intimately captured through MC's acute eye, artistic lens
A captivating view of the Orator, or rather the Diva,
the Songbird passionately singing, pouring her heart out,
probably evoking something along these romantic lines
"ca^t' tieng hat' cho mot nguoi
voi chiec bong' soi nu cuoi"
On the other side of the spectrum, keeping a low profile was more the order of the day, her fellow pigeon who preferred staying out of the limelight,
when peace of mind was more her calling
Quang
Wow, Quang, thank you for making my collage so much more interesting with your fertile creative mind and beautiful writings!

Hi MC,
ReplyDeleteThe title of your first picture is so apt, it truly is for me that of an Orator. It reminds me of those orators in the park (Hyde Park in London and Lafayette Park in front of the White House) where anyone can set up shop to protest or speak on any topic they choose, regardless of whether anyone is listening or not...
