Dear Em Ci Twin and friends,
Here are some shadows caught on my walk this morning. I was being extra careful this morning as last week I almost stepped on a big yellow snake ( Russ thinks it's *just* a rattle snake, that does not bite .. yeah right...)
I almost brought his bibi gun along, I am SO glad I brought the little camera instead ! Look what I caught a glimpse of, after scrutinizing the SHADOWS of the wild grass (pic 1) the side of the walkway (2)... I suddenly saw *my* beautiful crane in the SHADOW of the oak tree. As I moved, he moved, so I tried to be very still .. and voila` there he is captured *live* so to speak, for you to enjoy.
I hope you are not sick of the photos of my walk, they made the 3.5 miles so much more fun for me hi hi
Have a great Saturday whatever you have planned,
BT

Subject: [MC74 and Friends] Announcement to PNEHs - Theme for next week - SHADOWS
Dear fellows PNEH, painters, poets, Mai Quang and Forum friends,
We hope you have good weather wherever you are so you could all enjoy the spring outdoor and for the PNEHs to take lots of photos of SHADOWS for the upcoming theme.
Of course pictures of shadows taking indoor with your own hand puppets shadows on the walls are perfectly fine too, as long as you could do the shadows and take the photos at the same time without the help of the tripod :-).
For those who have not submitted entries or would like to contribute more photos for the current theme, MARKET is still ongoing till next Friday night. so you do have time to go browse the markets this weekend.
We can hardly wait to see the images of markets painted in Thu Huong's beautiful aquarelles and wonder how M-U will describe love in the market in her verses.
Have fun shooting photos of shadows, and don't be afraid of your own :-)
Have a nice and peaceful weekend everyone
BiTi and EmCi

Hello Bao Tram
ReplyDeleteWhat could be greater, more exciting than to have BT, Ba` Chu? "Mo*? Hang`", blazing the way for the new theme "Shadow",
in swift fashion and grand syle
A simple, casual walk on a bright, Spring day with the dazzling photographic highlights to remember by
The amazingly beautiful snapshots capturing the diverse reflections, shades of green, brown, emerald, in sparsely clutter to full blown complexion, with effortless ease, stunning clarity, enhanced only by a dash of creativity
So remarkably appealing, the charmingly bright picture of the crane taking refuge by the oak tree, a sunny imagery that brought into focus the subject matter, shadow, with flair and precision
Quang
Don't know what the first two were all about, but the third is cool photo of *your* beautiful crane, BT!
ReplyDeleteLove the dappled appearance of the grass! Almost unreal!
And the leaves shadows made him almost like a peacock!
You moved he moved! Haha! Can imagine the huntress! How abt a shot of him out in the open, too, a little hors sujet, but am sure you got one?
No, not a bibi gun! A ... bigger camera, maybe! LOL
Doug Phan
Hi BiTwin,
ReplyDeleteI love your entries for shadows, specially the gorgeous photo of the graceful and lonely crane (come to think of it, he might be not so lonely, since he had a road companion following him around :-)) with all the different and refreshing shades of green.
