Fw: [MC74 and Friends] Fwd: My entry for this week's theme "Transitions/Spring"






Dear friends,

Thank you all for posting so many beautiful pictures of spring from around the world.   They are uplifting and make me appreciate this season of hope, of renewal and rebirth.

 I'm not sure what is the maximum number of entries one is allowed to submit for each theme, so I'm taking the liberty of sending in two additional pictures of Transition to Spring.

 I'd like to share with you these cay nha la vuon pictures, which I took earlier this morning, to show you that spring has finally come to Texas, and the azaleas are starting to bloom.  This is the loveliest time of the year to be in Dallas.  We'll be enjoying wonderful weather for next two months, before the scorching heat descends on us again.

Please accept these pictures of my backyard flowers as a token of my friendship to you.

    Hi Tuan,

    The Azaleas in your garden are absolutely gorgeous! Your garden looks like one that belongs in a large mansion. We love azaleas too, having lived in Texas for many years. I remember in Houston, every Spring they have showcase of gardens of azaleas of different varieties in upscale homes. I am sure Dallas does the same thing, and I would not be surprised if your house is included in such a tour.

    Thank you Thuan for the beautiful photos that illustrate perfectly the theme transition to spring, and the poems from Che^' lan Vie^n. The views from your neck of the woods make me very envious.

    Es-tu sûr d'avoir retroussé tes manches et bêché
    ce sol argileux et lourd ,sous le soleil texan ?
    Ne serait-ce qu' une fois ?
    et amené ensuite des brouettes de terre de bruyère
    bien drainée pour tes spectaculaires massifs, à l'égal
    de ceux de la Villa d'Este et alentours ?
    C'est cela ! sous le regard admiratif du personnel, qui
    se tourne les pouces !
    Ah,comme le maître travaille bien !
