Thuy' Hoa\ o*i,
ReplyDeleteThank you for keeping your promise (made after a glass of beer :-) ) despite a crazy schedule and sending in your lovely entries for Summer. Photos no 3 and 4 are like postcards, and I love the brilliant colors in photo no.3.
MC
PS: Your good looking son has a lot of your and Thuy' Hao?'s features
Thuy Hoa oi,
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous pics! The last two could actually be resort postcards, and Atlantis should be paying you to use those photos! And as MC said, your son has a lot of your good looks (wondering if he needs to constantly be fending off girls :-)
Trang
Hello Thuy Hoa
ReplyDeleteSuch a picturesque, lovely view of a corner of paradise, Paradise Island, heaven on earth of sort
on a warm summer day, an ideal place destined for fun and relaxation
A slice of South Beach, Miami bursting with life and energy, on a bright, balmy day,
was quite a sight, in all its playful casualness
Vying for attention of a different kind, was the poster like Island Beach on Paradise Island,
so captivating, soothingly refreshing with its lush splendor, well reflected on emerald, icy blue waters
So was the alluring picture of Chouchou, the charmingly handsome young man,
taking in all the sights and sounds, all in stride

Hi Thuy Hoa
ReplyDeleteThanks for the charming photos and as per MC's comments, it's true, Life is a dance, so
I'd like to dedicate to both of you and to our friends this song I hope you dance by Lee Ann Womack, the lyrics are so meaningful

Hi Caro,
ReplyDeleteI love that song very much and may I interject with the line below?
"Life may not be the party we hoped for... but while we are here we might as well dance!
A thousand thank you's,
TNS
Hi Son
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly the spirit of the song and of life...
Thanks
Caro

I Hope You Dance lyrics
Songwriters: Sanders, Mark D.; Sillers, Tia;
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty-handed
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances but they're worth taking
Loving might be a mistake but it's worth making
Don't let some hell-bent heart leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out reconsider
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder)
I hope you dance
(Where those years have gone)
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
Dance
I hope you dance
(Dance)
I hope you dance
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder)
I hope you dance
(Where those years have gone)
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder
(Dance)
Where those years have gone
(Dance)
Dear Thuy-Hoa:
ReplyDeleteYou are usually quiet, but when you appear on the forum, you do it with flair. The photos of Quebec City and Montreal are terrific, full of charm and beauty, just like the photographer -:). At first glance of the first picture, I thought it was you in it -:).
Thank you for your compliments and words of encouragement. There are two types of 'say": say ru*o*.u and say ti`nh. I have learned that "say ti`nh" is much more...taxing, and the hangover is...no fun, to say the least. So if I get say, I try to stay with ru*o*.u, if I can... -:). This topic reminds me of a poem by Tu'-Xu*o*ng:
Mo^.t tra`, mo^.t ru*o*.u, mo^.t da`n-ba`,
Ba ca'i lang-nhang no' qua^'y ta!
Chu*`a du*o*.c mo'n na`o hay mo'n na^'y
Co' chang chu*`a ru*o*.u vo*'i chu*`a tra`!
Have a great weekend,
T.
