Fwd: [MC74 and Friends] my entries for REPETITIVE PATTERNS

Dear BiTwin, fellow PNEHs, painters, poets, Mai Quang and Forum friends,

Here are my entries for the theme:

the first one was taken at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza. The black iron dome, a favorite resting place for the pigeons, stood at the entrance to the park from 2nd Avenue. Standing inside the dome, looking up towards the direction of 42nd street and third Avenue, one can see from afar the glistening silver-colored rooftop of the famous Chrysler building.

My second entry is a copy cat of Tuan's very cool entry. I saw Tua^n's entry, and thought to myself "that was a brilliant idea for pattern! Why bother to think of something else? Let's just copy it" :-).
 Mine was taken in Bruxelles.
Bikes is one of my favorite subject, as you may have noticed by now, so my third one was taken through the window of a bike shop in Manhattan.

Have a great weekend
MC

Dear PNEH friends,

2) Shop window off of the Spanish Steps - Rome   taken a la mode de Em CI :-)
3) Ceiling of a building somewhere in Rome taken a la mode de OCF
4) Ceiling of the Pantheon in Rome (the real one after we mistook another
building for the Pantheon which turned out to be a museum... hi hi they all look
alike with the columns in the front)
5) Some other building in Rome :-)
6) Columns in Vatican (the line was too long and it was too hot so we gave up trying
to get inside :-)) will have to wait for the next trip with my Twin :-)

Cheers,

Fellow PNs and Friends:

Tri, MC, Quang, Caro: I really appreciate your truly heart-felt and wonderful input and comments about my pattern entries.

It has always been nice for me to learn from your feedback the last few weeks and also having a lot of fun at the same time. :)

I also hope my next shot will be better than the last... By the time I hit my 10,000th shot, I think I would be more comfortable getting what I really see through my lens and to accurately show the viewers.

Caro - Your pattern entry of the tinted-glass window is so vibrant and harmoniously colored. Your oysters displayed in such an appetizing pattern. Cannot wait to see more.

If you guys and gals don't mind, I will continue peeking in the blog from time to time to share photos and comments. Again thank you for letting me join the PNEH club, now as an inactive member :).

Happy (Camera) Shooting Everybody!

KPN

PS - I have two cheerful entries from the Land of Smiles taken at Loi Krathong some years back to share.

The 2nd photo are strings of oysters at a pearl farm in Tahiti
The 3rd photo are similar pattern plates from the Huntington Library

Dear All:
I have two entries for the Chairs theme.

Chairs, chairs, chairs...

Hi all,

"Chairs" was never really a subject for me, and so most of the chairs happened to photograph basically are the ones from those "pre-wedding / post-wedding shots", so hopefully you guys don't feel my entries for this week "too boring".  Except for the last one, it's not from a wedding... (^_^)

Anyhow, here they are.
