Tuan:  like Lan my favorite is the lines of tree bordering the streets, their play of colors and shadows.

Caro:  I love all of yours and definitely the yummy looking pops (could you put some in the mail please? :))

Lan: you made me sick ... for Paris, so beautiful

And now I better beat Em Ci to this ... :)

Here are my fall pics all taken in November in La Cresta Highlands - Murietta just about an hour drive from LA and yet it is so different looking, mostly ranches and horses. It's where the counties of Orange, San Diego and Riverside meet.

Dear PNEH friends,

I thought I'd hold out to close the theme but ... it looks like

my Twin has the same idea (surprise :)) So here goes, but

first off:

- Caro: I love your grey Lugano, it looks cold but ... romantic :)

- TNS: my favorite is the pigeon too

-  Tuan: I love the dancing statue

- HL: I love all of them, the dog looks like he is smiling at the photographer :)

My entries for Lines

Dear PNEH friends,

 Sorry I've been out of sight for a while, my old PC crashed and can only be accessed in safemode randomly ... so I can't easily

access my photos archive for musical instruments :(

 To make it up, here's to mo* hang` for the new theme, a few photos captured over the last couple of weeks... straight, wavy, cong cong, horizon-tal and sexy (ooh) lines :)

 I love your summer entries!

Tuan, Caro, TH:  your photos make me long for a beach vacation ...  I have to
console myself with the neighbor's swimming pool :).

HL: I love the collage too (ps. good try: about already forgetting how to do it :))

Ci Twin:  Love those plums, your dear visitors and of course the cool graffiti. I am also very impressed that you recognized HL's bouquet (erm ... how many pics of it do you have? not fair because my battery was out ... as usual hi hi)

This summer for me means:
- reflections in the ... neighbor's pool
- sunglasses
- shades under the oak tree, keeping an eye out on my newly added hydrangea babi
- and last but not least the champaca aka ngoc lan :)

1. taken a couple of hours ago, a gift from a whimsical friend :), if you wonder what it is ... it's a purse and yes I'll take it the chicken with me to happy hour later  :)

3. if I were a bird, I'd want to live there

Dear Em Ci Twin and PNEH friends,

Here it is finally :), all from my recent trip to the land of Tulips.

1 & 2 are from Amsterdam

3 from Zaanse Schans

4 from Hoorn (note how the facades of some houses are tilted forward? it's to give the illusion that the house width is wider when you look at it from the front. They were taxed on the front

width of the house, so most houses were built as narrow 'nha` ong', the skinniest house in Amsterdam is about 2 m wide I think)

another virtual trip to Yosemite (one of these days I've got

to make a real trip there :)), TNS for the beautiful photo

at dear park and the spring bouquet :), Lan for the wooden

games and holes in CP (where if I remember correctly you

wanted me to climb through? ahem) and congratulations on

finaling getting somr spring in Paris, my Twin for ...

keeping us waiting, i.e. not making me feel too bad for

being the last one to submit hi hi

Here goes all my driftwood taken a few weeks ago in Carmel

small beach close to Seal Rock.
