Fwd: My entries for PICTURES I LOVE

Dear all,

 To keep BiTi and Caro company :-) , here are my late three entries:

1- I was posing with the handsome elephant when he wrapped his trunk around my waist and gave me a tight but oh so gentle hug :-). It was a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

2- Ethereal, freshness, and of course pink.

3- It was a beautiful afternoon in Central Park. I heard Beatles tunes from the distance. The singer had a great voice. I approached him and requested one of my favorite songs, I want to hold your hand, he said he does not recall the lyrics but he has a better one for me, Something...How could I not settle for that? :-)

To open the theme, here are my entries for CIRCLES :

1- the delicious circles were given to me by my fellow Musketeerette no.3 . They were so pretty I had to take their portraits before eating them.

2- the photo of circles with flowers was taken at a resort in Koh Samui

3- the photo of circles of colors was taken in a little shop selling local hand made things in Chiang Mai

4-the photo of the edible circles (I think they are coffee cakes) was taken at the DH Farmer's market this week.

Here is my second entry for Summer. It was not summer yet when I took this picture, but somehow for me it feels like summer whenever I look at the picture. May be it's because of the sunshine on the water and the leaves, and the sign Timeout? Hope you won't say "Hmm...that's quite a long stretch" :-)

Setting the seeds of the dandelions free under the sunlight evokes summer for me.

Fwd: My entry for Super Moon

Dear all

It was also a lot of learning for me, though surely way more than Thang whose photos of the moon are really nice. 

I used the tripod and set my camera on manual for the first time. It took me a long while to set the camera on the tripod and yet I did not set it up properly as my camera was tilted and every time I pressed the button, it shook a little. As a result, I had to hold the tripod with one hand while taking pictures (it is so embarrassing, it defeats the whole purpose of using the tripod :-)).

But the most important thing for me was it was great fun learning and overcoming my apprehension of setting up the tripod and messing around with the buttons on my camera. 

Anyway here is a collage of my attempts at capturing chi Hang :-).

Too bad it was cloudy in California, so we don't get to see the pictures from the members there. Hope to see the moon from Paris :-)
