Fwd: [MC74 and Friends] cool drinks for the Summer
Dear MC and BT
Awesome, gotta try the Lemon margarita, looks really inviting!
Here's a perfect dessert for summer to share with you all
I made this thach for today lunch at my cousins/ place
At the bottom, there are 3 layers of thach: mango with fresh diced mangos, strawberry with sliced strawberries, longan with fruits, then topped with floral aspic. I sculpted the flowers into the thach using a knife, spoon and syringes, then the finishing touch is the fresh raspberries encapsulated in aspic...
Doesn't it look fresh and pretty?

Fwd: [MC74 and Friends] YELLOW from PUNTA CANA
Hi everybody
Had a busy week in the Domenican Republic! After all the conferences and meetings, we had an amazing Saturday in Punta Cana, going on an outing with our friends and colleagues from the duty free industry... amazing swim in a shallow and crystal clear cove, lunch and massage on an island with white sandy beach, and a catamaran ride with open bar, music and dancing. We even witnessed a touching scene, one of the guys proposed to his girlfriend right there, and she said yes! So we had a great celebration back in the hotel, and all had champagne in the pool, under the stars! Just a perfect day! I managed to take some photos for the Yellow theme during the outing...
And the last photo is my personal favorite, taken during my last month trip in Hong Kong, the giant 54 feet duck is designed by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, and has brought cheers to all visitors!

Not sure if this qualifies, but I baked today Pates Chauds with Phyllo pastry in the shape of roses... I thought these little pastries look whimsical!!!
I tried to shape the phyllo as rose petals
They were yummy too, delicate and flaky...

Fwd: [MC74 and Friends] my BICYCLES entries
Hello everybody
Very appropriate theme for this month...
Last summer, strolling in the streets of Venice without any destination in mind, we happened to stumble upon the Guggenheim museum and discovered a treasure trove of modern art. Although it's smaller than its NY counterpart, the Peggy Guggenheim museum in Venice had amazing masterpieces from Cubism, Abstract, Surrealism artists, and concurrently, there was an exhibition of historic bicycles, completed by Jean Metzinger's paintings from the world of cycling in the 1910s... Enjoy
