Dear Bi twin, fellow PNEHs, painters, poets, Mai Quang and Forum friends,

here are my additional entries for the extended theme WINTER.
The first photo was taken yesterday afternoon in my neighbors' backyard. (Hint to my little sis: there is a big space in my photo too :-))The second photo, of the moonlight was taken on a recent Sunday evening in my neighborhood.
The pictures in the collage were taken at various times in various places; the photos of the moonlight and the bare tree against a backdrop of purple sky were from my neighborhood, the photo of pine trees in the sunset were taken in upstate NY, the one with trees, clouds and sunset was taken while on the road to to southern NJ.

Dear Bi twin, fellow PNEH, painters, poets, Mai Quang and Forum friends,

my additional entry "canh\ hoa ddao\ va\ mat. troi*\" with my warmest wishes for a wonderful new year to all of you.
The photo was taken this past Thursday. On my way to work, I passed by this shop behind the fences, on First Avenue, I saw the reflection of the morning sun with its golden rays on the window, then noticed the cherry blossoms.
 To my friend and fellow New Yorker (and fellow night owl) Mai Quang, thank you for your good wishes. I wish you love, luck, health, happiness.

 Here is yet another red and golden dragon to wish you a fabulous 2012 !

 Thank you dear Twin for the beautiful geometric collages, HLan for the

R&G dragon, Caro for the superb travelogue and youtube, TNS for the

cute Lan, Tuan for the Champagne, and last but not least Mr. Kiu for

your kind reviews and our Triplet for reappearing for Tet :-)

I have been away in the freezing cold Ohio for a few days and I totally empathize

with you M-U, I was so glad at the idea of coming home to sunny California

this morning .. to find instead ... grey wet damp weather which is to last through

tomorrow... coi bo rong nam nay hoi mi't uot' at least for this part of the 

country :-)

Have a wonderful giao thua everyone and of course lots of loc and tien li xi

 I went by the LV store at Stanford Shopping Center today and couldn't

believe it ... they  had their window display arranged  for our theme! and 

with a sense of humor to boot with the red purse replacing the cherry

on the cupcake :-)

So here we go, don't you think it's perfect for the theme? ;-)

  We (me and my little kimekomi babi) would like to present to you our best 

wishes for a prosperous Year of the Dragon. May it bring you LOTS of wealth,

 happiness. health and love and whatever else your heart desires.

 She has put on her best red and gold outfit  and gone to the bank to get

this bag of gold coins just for you  hi hi...   Her sister (you met her last year

remember?) is a bit bummed out for not being the bearer of gifts this year

but she still has some quince for you if you go see her at:

Dear MC, I fully agree with BT about your collage  and can only say that being sick is useful sometimes.  I love your nakelace, and the way you display your jewelry stand, (also the picture of necklaces  you took for the Geometric shapes theme). Since the MIA is back, I just might as well submit my entries for Gold & Red. The first two were taken in Singapore, the buddhas and the pagoda were taken in Taipei. There are more gold and red in Asia than in Switzerland for sure, could not think about anything red and gold around this area ! Hope you feel better MC. and good night. BL

Dear Bi Twin, fellow PNEHs, painters, poets, Mai Quang, and Forum friends,

What would a PNEH do when the personcalled in sick but was not sick enough to stay in bed and got bored going in circles in the house?
OK, so this is what happened in my case. I went around the house looking for something red and gold to shoot pictures for our theme RED and GOLD.
I found a bead necklace in red and gold colors given to me by a young Tibetan colleague, then I remembered my twin's suggestion last time she was at my place that I should take a picture of MH's jewelry stand. Eureka! I discovered a few items among Mai Han's collection of necklaces that were perfect as symbols of my wishes to all of you for Te^t' (love, luck, prosperity, success).
So here they are (with thanks to my twin), to open the theme. I think this is the first time I open the show, hopefully it will bring lots of submissions from all PNEHs, painters, poets, Mai Quang, including those who went MIA for quite some time, and who knows, may be new PNEHs, painters and poets :-).

Voici ma contribution au GEOMETRIC SHAPES !

A l'occasion d'un voyage début 2011 en Egypte, j'avais fait ce tableau appelé « COLONNES D'EGYPTE » en souvenir des colonnes à ciel ouvert des temples égyptiens.

Les billets d'entrée ont été incrustés dans le tableau.

C'est un tableau de 82cm de long et 65 cm de large peint en acrylic.
