Here are my 2nd entries for GREY, we took a boat to the Seals Island off the coast of Cape Town, watching the seals play, swim and interact was so much fun... We also visited a refuge for penguins...

Would these photos qualify for the grey theme? They're hot off the press from the safari in S Africa...

Although I saw herds of elephants in my previous safari a few years ago, this time it was awesome to watch the elephants mingling with the rhinoceros, but I failed to have a good picture with both at the same time... We were in a jeep, and instructed not to move much or stand up, so it was hard to take good photos...

Dear friends, Fall is definitely here and winter is trying to sneak in in some places as well ... Hello everybody

Here are 2 shots of electrical poles, pardon the quality, but I took them while the vehicle was moving...

The 1st one is taken while driving past the slums of Johannesburg
The 2nd is taken at the Legend Safari & Golf resort, you can see a wilderbeast on the left side.  Had an amazing game drive today, saw lions eating a prey, then fighting over it...
Also saw giraffes, elephants, rhino, wilderbeasts, zebras, ostriches, impalas, hippo, and other wild animals, it's so awe inspiring!

My second entry for 'mat zay dien' :-)

Dear Ci Twin and friends,

When I went for a walk yesterday, I finally 'caught' a bird on the electric line (can you see it? )

Then the electric poles lined up for me to take their photo :-)

 

Lastly, the third photo brings back (bad) memories of when I worked for this big corporation and this 'crazy' CFO who thought their the team needed to go up to Lake Tahoe and climb up these big cut trees (that look very much like these

poles but are higher), stand up on the top, and jump off !

I kid you not, we had to sign off a release beforehand of course in case we broke our neck and could no longer work, and yes we were harnessed to a partner on the ground.  The problem was my partner was a lot heavier than me, so when I jumped off ... up in the air he went (ouch, it must have hurt hi hi)

In any case, thinking back now, it was fun and yes it made me think and act more 'out of the box' - if you know what I mean hi hi

Dear BiTwin, fellow PNEHs, painters, poets, Mai Quang and Forum friends,

OK, so I went for a walk in the neighborhood this afternoon to take pictures of electric lines. I got quite excited and kept taking pictures after pictures of electric lines and poles, oblivious of quizzical glances. I must admit I went "mat' dzay ddie^n" about the theme. As you can see from my first photo, the birdies did not show up when my twin took her photo of her electric lines earlier today because they were busy flying towards my lines :-)
