here are my first entries for Backlighting. the first one was taken quickly when the sun came out from behind the clouds this afternoon, in between my many Sunday chores.
The others were taken a while ago. I hope they qualify as entries for Backlighting.

The golden black eye susan proudly taking center stage under the bright, illuminating light, against a more dimly lit backdrop
The picturesque boat sighting set against the majestic urban skyline, gently bathed, lovely framed by heavenly blue sky, a scenic panorama
made all the more striking with pops of white, soothing lights
Reading, a favorite pastime under the cool shade on a sweltering hot day, taking on a more alluring posture, definitely a distinct, sexy, seductive appeal, when the subject was brought into focus under the most favorable, captivating light
On a personal note, as you will heading off to Asia tomorrow,
have a very pleasant, enjoyable trip, a wonderful, relaxing, great time on your getaway vacation in Thailand with the family
