[MC74 and Friends] My entries for AUTUMN


Dear BiTwin, fellow PNEHs, painters, poets, Mai Quang and Forum friends,

Here are my entries for Fall.
The first two were taken the weekend before the hurricane
The other two were taken last Sunday in my garden of what was left of the foliage after Sandy's visit, when the sun came out. There is not much fall foliage left in my garden now that the snow storm hit us on Tuesday.

    Hello Mai Chau

    So amazingly beautiful, the Fall pictures in all its Autumnal splendor that weathered the storm quite nicely, in the wake of the devastating hurricane Sandy

    Seemingly oblivious to Mother Nature's whimsical tendencies, the autumn tree basking under a clearly bright sunshine, a cheerful vision
    in vibrantly dashing colors, a picturesque moment in time charmingly defined for all it was worth

    Fittingly in tune with the seasonal change, given the ephemeral nature, the barren tree stoically standing still with its remaining leaves hanging on, neatly aligned in strange, orderly fashion, a somewhat sad, grim depiction of reality setting in, so artistically captured with a delightful, clever touch

    For all the unforeseen havoc wreaked by Sandy on her raging path,
    a fantastic picture of Fall resilience emerging, coming back to life,
    the autumns leaves retaining their true colors, shattered but not broken, their identities still kept intact in the face of adverse conditions

    Making quite a lasting impression, a splendid snapshot of Fall in all its alluring mistiness, the calm after the storm delicately wrapped in serene glory
