My interpretation of this Whimsical theme is playful, fanciful, fun... So here are my entries

The 1st one is of a seal's balancing act taken at the W in Hong Kong
The 2nd photo shows life on a balcony
The 3rd is a humorous statue at the Guggenheim in Venice
The last  was taken last week end at the Bellagio, Las Vegas

    Such splendid, cool pictures, charmingly captured in
    various corners of the world, each with a distinctive flair,
    unique appeal

    The seal balancing act, a wonderful, cute idea of carrying
    a heavy burden by a nose, proved to be a joyful,
    twirling piece of cake

    Life on a balcony, colorful spectacle of larger than life figures
    vying for attention, the glamorous spotlight on a secluded, intimate world stage

    Ecstasy, the ultimate feeling of exhilaration,
    on the throes of rapture, so beautifully expressed
    with sweet candor, most of all, delightful humor

    A colorful, giant snail of an entrance,
    quite an neat, landscaping idea, off the beaten path
