The Singer, Tomoca, a young lady who combines traditional Japanese songs with English pop is really pretty and friendly and wears a denim kimono with an LV obi, how cool is that? On the other hand, Mami Kisaragi is a Kimono Stylist, she puts together a kimono like a work of art...

The Sushi Chef, Kenjiro Hatch Hashida, is super talented and nice, he runs one of the most successful sushi place in Tokyo and also caters to celebrities from all over the world, and during the event, he proposed on stage to his sweetheart, a gorgeous Canadian Japanese ex-model, aarrggh, so romantic... and of course she said yes! You can see it all in this smilebox, but for a clearer look of Tomoca in her denim kimono, see the attached photo!

Actually the event was work as I had my Japanese clients there, and back in the hotel, I usually work on my computer till the wee hours...
but not complaining ... ; )

By the way, a few months ago I raved about the movie "Jiro Dream of Sushi" which I watched in a theater in Santa Monica... Now it's showing on board of Cathay Pacific and it's also available on Netflix.
It makes you have a new respect for sushi Chefs who are passionate about what they're doing and create work of art... The sushi chef Kenjiro Hatch Hachida who was honored at the Gc event, known as chef Hatch, is also really talented and super nice, here's the link to his restaurant
