Lamp-posts from the old world to the new world

Dear friends,

To compare and contrast :-) here are some lamp-posts from Rome and some from
Northern California  Which do you like better hi hi

It's raining cats and dogs here still. Great time for staying home and have some
pancake :-) How's the weather chez vous?

  1. Dear BiTwin,
I like them all, whether beautifully ornate and old in Rome or sleek and modern in Northern California :-). I love the romantic feeling contained in the photo of the black lamp post on salmon colored wall with white curtains, and the colors and light captured in the three gorgeous photos of lamp posts in Northern California.

  2. Hello Bao Tram

What an impressive collection of Lamposts pictures,
vintage meets modernity, a mere one ocean away,
in the ever changing world of street lighting,
when reflectors serve more than just a convenient, urban utility

From fairly sunny Rome to cooler, misty Northern California,
such lovely, splendid snaphots captured from impossibly daring, imaginative, intriguing angles highlighting the appealing subjects in quite an artistic, eye pleasing fashion

A lone, single bulb turned charmingly upside down,
a delightful, visual spectacle on its own

The intricately decorated lampshade seemingly defying the law of gravity, when snapped thrillingly sideways

Taking the fallen posture to extreme with heightened dizziness,
a charming couple ready to take the plunge, in the face of their cozy world going hell bent, all shaken up

On a more tranquil side, yet not so clear day that one could see forever, an odd looking red signal leading the way on a densely
    fogged Golden Gate

Lighting up the heavenly, hazel blue sky,
such vibrantly bright, bursts of light

With urban life taking on a semblance of normalcy,
a cute, adorable vision of Bright Light, Big City in all its tenderness

    Cheers
    Quang
