Fw: [MC74 and Friends] Whenn "LIFE IMITATES ART - PNEHS RECREATE THU HUONG' S PAINTINGS"

Aargh, BT, too bad MC rejected your first entry of the puppy, I think it was a perfect match for TH's sketches and watercolor!!!

I love your colorful bobines de fils as well, very artistic shot!

HL's gousse d'ail and MC's light bulbs were also great photography...

OK, here are my entries, 2 were previously submitted (I know, I know, they will be disqualified by MC, but this is just as reminders...)
and 2 new "creations"...

  1. Caro,
    Double wow.
This is so exciting. One of the pleasures of the new theme is to go
back and look at all of THg's previous entries all over again. I was
admiring the two you picked and said to myself, I hope someone picks
    these to reproduce.
Another one is the Grapes for the Fall theme; I'm curious how a PNEH
would recreate that gorgeous golden light.

  4. Hello MU, BT & MC

Thank you for your compliments, I'm glad you like them
For the B&W picture, I had to do a composition of photos I took both in Prague and in a German village and collate them together to match TH's watercolor...

    Cheers

  5. Hello Caro

Setting a great precedent, cleverly using TH's watercolor works as the basis for 2 joyful entries,
was a great idea that took off contegiously

Yet following up with the additional 2 lovely illustrations, or rather, reinterpretations of the theme,
    was quite a personal accomplishment

The venerable, vintage looking clock that struck an uncanny resemblance to its counterpart in the painting,
minus minor details, was indeed a visual feast in living colors

On opposite side of the color spectrum, in neutral yet bold and white, such an eerily stunning replica
of a quaint, little German village dotted with narrow, cobblestoned street

A picturesque sighting that retained its quiet, historic, magical charm, evenly matching almost perfectly
to the model, down to the most nitty, gritty details

But I'm still waiting for the verdict from TH...

  6. Chere Caro ,
