WHEN "LIFE IMITATES ART - PNEHS RECREATE THU HUONG' S PAINTINGS of La P'titebete qui monte

Dear M-U, Em Ci, Thu Huong and friends,

Following MU's order :-)  I spent the afternoon trying to
emulate TH's beautiful grapes ...

Have you seen grapes grow on fig tree? :-) Now you have,
it looks easier than it is - believe me- to grow grapes on fig
trees hi hi and also note that cai' chum` grapes nay` ho*i
cut. ddon` ... it's because that's all there's left in the fridge hi hi

And ... there's no way I'll go fetch some p'te bete to complete
the picture Thu Huong oi :-)

Have a nice Sunday evening,
BT

  2. Hello Bao Tram, Thu Huong

From whatever remained from the fridge, it sure looked so succulent,
savory, tasting looking, dripping with freshness !!!
The dreamy, almost surreal, magical light on Thu Huong's aquarelle,
especially with the "petite bete qui monte", would be quite hard to emulate, or recreate

But, under the circumstance, Biti's grape picture was equally thrilling,
the bright, illuminating light in the background enhancing, if not, bringing into focus, the very appealing subject in all ripeness

  4. Dear PHEHs and Friends:

Looking at Thu Huong's grapes painting, I remember a photo of Chardonnay grapes taken by a fellow photographer and friend, Marko Gregoric, from Slovakia on pbase at

    http://www.pbase.com/gregoric/image/95448730 . What do you think ?

Btw, good photo imitation job, BT. Where can I find the THg's paintings?

    Cheers

  5. I agree with everything Quang said!
I assume when Quang says "very appealing subject in all ripeness" he still meant the grapes.:-)

    1. Hello Mai Uyen

You really cracked up me with your funny, cute comment,
which could hold true, sometimes, when one's mind started to wander in various, unplanned directions :-)

The curious mind, at times, does work in mysterious ways, though !

Have a very Relaxing Night in New Jersey

  6. Thank you Quang, Tuan, KPN and Em Ci for your encouraging
    words.

Your friend's photo is gorgeous KPN, with the lights going right
through the grapes just as Thu Huong's.
